It doesn't seem fair, either way, does it? No doubt your husband tries to eat right in an effort to lose, but under that company's rules he'd still have to pay higher insurance rates.

So what about all of those people who don't try to eat right and who, by quirk of their own genetics, haven't gained weight? My husband's like that: burgers, ice cream, pizza. Daily. Doesn't gain an ounce.

I couldn't tell you if his cholesterol is good or not, though. He won't see a doctor unless he's sick. So, yeah, our insurance is saving money on him right now, but who knows what'll happen when all that saturated fat catches up with him?

oh this infuriates me! there are just some people, that no matter what they do will never be thin.. ever. My husband is a good example. No amount of exercise and no diet has ever worked. He can loose a little, but he'll never be anything but obese.. its in his genes.
