I used to have a pair of high heeled sneakers, but I never wore them to run. If she has short Achilles tendons, high heels would definitely be more comfortable.

A couple of a decades ago, a lady and myself were in Montreal (staying in separate hotels; she liked the expensive one, and I liked the cheap one.)

At work, she always wore heels. What surprised me, during that short time in Montreal, was that she had high heeled running shoes. I didn’t even know that they were made. She told me that flats hurt her calves, which was too much information.

Even after more than three decades, I wonder about her feet, and how she could manage wearing that footware. It is much easier being a man: I can go into the local Florsheims, and buy a black 12C shoe; I don’t care much about the style.
