I just love this news! My exercise bike has programmed "rides" of which I'm still doing the first level. 20 minutes of hell. Seriously, I hate every second of it but it's convenient and probably no worse than any other exercise. I've been trying to do 20 minutes in the morning before breakfast and another 20 in the afternoon or evening.

With apologies to the scientists my theory was that if exercise "revs up" your metabolism then mine could certainly stand to be revved up twice a day! (Not that the mere idea of 30 to 40 solid minutes of exercise is excruciating for someone as lazy as I am and the thought of it is enough to keep me off the bike entirely. Nope, that's not it at all.)
