Salad In Your Glass

We’re just about OD’d on the “Sunshine in a Glass” juice recipe I posted earlier. So today we’re trying the Dr. Oz juice recipe I found at The Online Recipe Box.

Care to place a bet on how fast my son turns up his nose and refuses to drink even the tiniest sip?

Sounds yummy to me. Frank probably wouldn’t drink it.

Thanks for visiting my site (The Online Recipe Box)! How did you like the drink?

To be honest, it wasn’t my favorite because the ginger made it SO spicy. I’m going to try it again soon, but next time I’ll omit the ginger.

    Love your site, btw.

Thanks for this post. I saw this drink on Oprah too and wondered what the recipe was. I’ll go check out the site you suggested. Love the name of your blog btw.

Looks like it’s probably green, from the recipe. I’d suggest putting it in front of the Big Eyed Boy and telling him it’s actually swamp ooze or slug juice. Kids love that sort of thing, or at least my girls do.

Of course, the standard answer to the usual “What are we having for dinner?” question is “Kittens!” around our house, so maybe they’ve developed an advanced-WG-BS detection system. :)

I told him it was Monster Guts. Didn’t go over well, but then again I didn’t really expect it would. The juice itself actually tastes green, if that makes sense. It’s even a bit too green-tasting for me, and I love veggies.
