Children need to get out that energy, and teachers need to provide more ways to do it. If they're going to insist that we turn the majority of our kids' lives over to them, the least they can do is assist us in keeping our kids healthy!

Nevermind that invigorating exercise helps increase focus and concentration. What's the first thing to go as "discipline"? Recess.

My kids got one 20 minute recess, after lunch, at their school. We used to have a minimal of two thirty-minute recesses.

No wonder the increase in kids on meds for "ADHD" is so high... I can't even get started on that one.
