Scale's in the bathroom. And it's gonna stay in there, buried under the dust bunnies.

Actually, I've lost four pounds in the past two weeks, according to Mom's digital scale. I weighed myself there two weeks ago when I was up visiting, and I weighed myself again yesterday, so I'm a bit happy about that!

Now to get hubby to go to the grocery store to get me some more fruit!

I threw out the scale when it went all wonky (no, I didn't break it, ahem), and I did not bother replacing it. Doubt I ever will. When I had one, I weighed every day and beat myself up over those daily fluctuations (which are very frequent when one has intestinal troubles). Now I weigh only at the doctor's office, and my neuro is even nice enough to his patients that he just asks what we weigh (though that still made me break down in tears once, as I had just seen my internist and knew the answer). When my clothes get loose and/or start falling off or I have to tighten my belt, I know I've lost weight.

Omg, yes! Weekends are the very hardest for me. Plus, it certainly does not help that I absolutely love to eat. And most of my favorite foods (Italian) tend to be quite high in fat and other bad for me stuff.

I keep my scale in the bathroom and try so hard to avoid stepping on it, because I really do not want to know how much weight I've gained. It sucks!

I'm about to embark on a small venture to try to shed at least 15-20lbs. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Way to go, Chelle! When I got my military ID renewed the other day, the woman glanced at the weight, glanced at me and said, "Honey, ain't it nice when we have goals?" (She was a Chubby Mommy, too, so I didn't take it personally.)

Down 3 more lbs. this week. Within 5lbs of what my ID claims to be my weight. I keep my scale tucked under the tv stand in our bedroom and pack it to the bathroom every other day. Can't keep it in the kitchen or they boys will ruin it by jumping on and off every chance they get and can't keep it in the bathroom for the same reason.

I have stayed about the same this week. I actually have an easier time eating healthy on the weekend. My job has more food around than most restaurants. I have heard good things about Alli, but I am afraid to try it because I have had gastric bypass surgery. I have lost a lot of weight, but I have also regained 15 pounds over time and I am trying to check that while it is still 15 pounds.

I haven't officially started keeping track just yet. But hubby is down 5 lbs now with Alli. His absolute fear of those unwanted treatment effects has kept him in line like I would never have believed possible.

And we keep our scale in the bathroom because that's where it gets the least amount of damage from the littlest guy jumping on it.
