Sunday Weigh In

Weigh In I haven’t lost a single pound this week. The good news is that I also haven’t gained a single pound, either.

Anna is doing great, though: 9 pounds down. She’s going off of Alli but still following the eating plan. Way to go, girl!

Chelle dropped two pounds for a total now of forty! She credits her success to Slim-Fast and water.

How’re you doing? Are you ready to lose more this coming week?

So far I’ve been doing pretty good on Alli. I’ve been losing weight and those pesky treatment effects have gone bye bye! Yahooooo! lol

PS: Way to look on the bright side of not losing weight this week. As soon as I read that, I thought just as you did, well at least there wasn’t a gain. AND, if you are working out, you might have lost inches too, so continue to hang in there!

Congrats to you on the weight loss! I think you’re right as to mine: I can feel a difference in the waistband of my pants, even if I don’t see a difference on the scale.

Not gaining is half a win right? Holding the line is a good thing!

I FEEL smaller — does that count? But according to the scale, more gain. I have got to talk to my doctor to get on different medications. A flippant “oh yeah, these two both tend to cause weight gain” just isn’t going to do it for this girl. Especially when I’m supposed to be losing weight. Duh.

  5. Chelle says:

Thank you for the linkage, Kate. :) The last 5 days seem to have been my brick wall. I haven’t gained but haven’t lost, but the COPD has been flaring up since spending so much time in the car and out in the humid air. Perhaps this week it will break. So, nope. You’re not alone. We all hit our plateaus.

Not gaining is as good as not losing, in my book. Some mornings I feel like I used to when I was a teenager who’d wake up and run to the mirror hoping to find I didn’t have any new zits. Now I’m just hoping not to have any new pounds!

  7. Annaliese says:

    Thanks for the kind words!

Just as an update for those interested in Alli, 10 days after quitting my weight loss has slowed (down 2 more pounds) but the weight is still going DOWN. I know some people were concerned about regaining the weight after quitting the pills but so far that hasn’t been the case for me.

Congratulations, Annaliese! I think I may just pick up another bottle of pills after all.
